The New Orleans Saints take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in what should be a great matchup. Both teams are looking to keep winning and maintain their spot in the playoff race. However, Mark Ingram is in line to potentially break a franchise record in this game.

According to James Palmer, “Mark Ingram needs 20 rushing yards today to pass Deuce McAllister for the most rushing yards in Saints franchise history.”

Ingram is very likely to break this franchise record against the Titans. Alvin Kamara is ruled out, which makes Mark Ingram the featured running back for the Saints. He looked solid in his first game back with New Orleans.

20 yards isn't too much and is very doable for Ingram. The Saints might also be relying on the run game, as the team is dealing with multiple injuries on the roster. It'll still be a challenging game though, as the Titans' defense has drastically improved the last several weeks.

Although Mark Ingram is a bit on the older side for a running back, he's still a very capable rusher. He also thrives in the passing game, making him a versatile weapon that can fill in for Kamara's absence nicely.

We'll see how it plays out. The Titans start the game with the ball first, so Ingram will have to wait to break the franchise rushing record for now. Even so, he could break Deuce McCallister's record on the Saints' first drive of the game.

This is a huge moment for Ingram, as he'll have a chance to prove himself as one of the best running back in the Saints' franchise history.
