Less and less Saints are marching in to tonight's Thanksgiving game. Running back Mark Ingram “is not expected to play tonight.” This is according to a tweet from Pro Football Focus reporter Ari Meirov.

Ingram was listed as questionable on the Saints Injury Report Wednesday, but has since been downgraded to out with a knee injury. He joins four other players on the list: Alvin Kamara, Ryan Ramczyk, Marcus Davenport, and Tanoh Kpassagnon. Kamara has been out of commission for the Saints offense for a few weeks now struggling with an MCL knee injury.

Kamara recorded seven touchdowns, 530 rushing yards, and 310 receiving yards in eight games before the team was forced to reinvent their offense. Now the Saints must fill another void with Ingram out. He recorded two touchdowns, 499 rushing yards, and 156 receiving yards in only four games played this season. With both star players out, the Saints are going to have a difficult time against the Bills tonight.

Ingram was also a key part in the team's first down department. He totaled 21 first downs in four games, which is a key factor in a successful Saints run game.

The Saints will host the Buffalo Bills for the late NFL Thanksgiving game. After a road loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans is looking to get above 0.500. They are currently 5-5 compared to the slightly better record of the 6-4 Bills.
