There has already been a slew of NFL injuries to occur in Week 2 and Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints has taken notice of it. While he's dealing with an injury of his own, Michael Thomas reacted to the countless number of injuries to take place on Sunday.

Early in Sunday's games, there was a rapid number of notable players getting injured for teams. Altogether, Nick Bosa, Drew Lock, Cam Akers, Saquon Barkley, Parris Campbell, Jerry Jeudy, Anthony Barr, among a few others. Even Bosa's replacement in Solomon Thomas exited on a cart for the San Francisco 49ers.

Of course, injuries were a concern for players with a shortened offseason and no preseason games. For the most part, in Week 1, there weren't many notable injuries that transpired across the NFL.

However, it's been a completely different story for the league in Week 2. Michael Thomas himself is dealing with an injury that he sustained in the first week of the season versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The All-Pro wide receiver has been ruled out for Week 2 due to a high-ankle sprain. Even though Thomas wants to return sooner, he's been given a probable timeline of two-to-four weeks.

Regardless of who is playing, it is never a positive sight to see a player get injured. And it's been quite some time since we've seen the number of injuries that have happened so far in Week 2.

But as Thomas alluded to, hopefully all of the players dealing with injuries can avoid anything serious and make speedy recoveries.
