As a result, the Atlanta Falcons lose their star wide receiver for the season. However, New Orleans Saints star receiver Michael Thomas left a heartfelt message to Ridley.
The Saints star took to Twitter to reach out to Calvin Ridley. It's not a super deep message, but it's still heartfelt and means something.

Michael Thomas has been dealing with injury issues the last couple of years and has seemed to be frustrated with the Saints during that time. Going through trade rumors and a slew of misinformation being spread about his injury status, Thomas has experiences of his own he must deal with.
It's unknown exactly what is going on with Calvin Ridley. It's a personal matter, so it could be a number of things preventing the Falcons' star receiver from playing football. Hopefully, he can overcome his struggles and come back to football sooner, rather than later.
Seeing anyone struggle with personal issues is never a great thing. However, it's nice to see someone like Michael Thomas share his support for Calvin Ridley during a time where he is clearly struggling. Maybe more information will surface about what exactly is going on. However, that'll be up to Ridley whether that news is shared or not.
