The NFL announced that New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas has won the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for November. Over the last five weeks, Thomas has caught 37 receptions for 415 yards and two touchdowns.

The fans have also taken notice of Thomas and his play with their Pro Bowl voting. Thomas is still the top vote-getter for wide receivers and has the seventh-most votes overall when the last update was released on December 2nd.

There has also been a lot of talk over the last couple of weeks if Thomas should be considered for the MVP award even though there has never been a receiver that has taken home the award. Thomas has caught 110 passes for 1,290 yards and six touchdowns.

He probably should be getting more attention than he is, because this could go down as one of the best seasons for a wide receiver in NFL history. He also had Teddy Bridgewater throwing him the ball while Brees was out with injury and his stats didn't go down, which makes his season even more impressive.

Thoams signed a big contract this offseason, but that hasn't hurt his motivation for this season.

“I’m blessed to be in a position to have an opportunity to earn a contract like that, so I just want to take full advantage of it and give my best effort and add the most value I can,” Thomas said via USA Today. “How can I build and how can I get better? And how can I do better than I did the week before? I’m always trying to play a perfect game. I haven’t played one yet.”

The Saints are a Super Bowl contender this year and a big reason is because of Thomas and his MVP-level season.
