Sportsbooks have placed the New Orleans Saints as 3-point favorites over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of their NFC Divisional Round playoff showdown. Per David Purdum of ESPN, one of the largest bets on the night came in the form of a quarter of a million dollars for the Saints to cover spread on Sunday.

In addition to the $250,000 bet, another wager with a similar risk amount was placed on a two-team parlay, this time with the Buffalo Bills booked as two-point favorites. Meanwhile, Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns are 10-point underdogs against Patrick Mahomes and the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs.

Amounts like these aren't even surprising anymore, especially given how huge this upcoming game is between Brady's Bucs and Drew Brees' Saints. In fact, someone already made a half-a-million bet earlier this season – and saw all of his money dissipate following the Seattle Seahawks' 23-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Nevertheless, Buccaneers and Saints fans are probably more concerned about the outcome of Sunday's contest more than any kind of betting spread. New Orleans has bested Tampa Bay so far this season, sweeping the two meetings during the regular year. However, all of those are out the window now with a spot in the NFC Championship game up for grabs.

The spotlight will certainly point towards the all-time quarterback match-up between Tom Brady and Drew Brees in the NFC Divisional Round. Believe it or not, this will mark just the first time the two legends will face off against each other in the postseason. This should be a fun one for Sunday Night Football.

The winner of this NFC Divisional Round game will advance to the NFC Championship Game to face the winner of the Los Angeles Rams-Green Bay Packers match at Lambeau Field on Jan. 17.
