There is no question that the surging New Orleans Saints will enter the upcoming 2019-20 campaign as the co-favorites to come out of the NFC when all is said and done — alongside the equally powerful Los Angeles Rams, of course. However, the Saints will be forced to enter a tough stretch of games at one point in the 2019-19 regular season, which was officially released to the public this past week.

This tough stretch has the Saints playing four straight games against divisional opponents while only one other team in the NFL will encounter the same fate. It is also worth noting, though, that both the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons are the only NFL franchises that will be forced to play five consecutive divisional games in 2019-20.

Luckily for the Saints, this four-game stretch will come between Weeks 10 and 13, which comes immediately after New Orleans' bye week in Week 9. With two of these games coming at home and the other two coming on the road, the Saints will take on the Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers and Falcons again to complete the four-week gauntlet.

Of course, the Saints have almost reached the Super Bowl in each of the last two seasons, with last year's unfortunate ending coming against the aforementioned Rams in the NFC Championship Game. With a controversial no-call ultimately deciding the team's season in the end with the Rams heading to Super Bowl LIII, the Saints will no doubt be back and ready to roll ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
