Pro Football Focus has shared some rather incredible stats when it comes to the play of New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees this season.

Brees has once again put together another masterful year in helping lead the Saints to an 11-2 record at this point, which has them in line for home-field advantage in the NFC.

The 18-year pro has thrown for 3,463 yards and 31 touchdowns thus far while posting an excellent 120.8 passer rating.

But those aren't the only impressive numbers that Brees has compiled this season, as evidenced by this graphic from PFF that shows his fantastic passer rating on deep throws and his tremendous adjusted completion percentage of 82.7 percent.

It's not easy for a quarterback to post these types of numbers, yet Brees is doing it at the age of 39. His grasp of the New Orleans offense is simply off the charts at this point, and that should give fans plenty of confidence when it comes to this team's ability to make a run at a Super Bowl title.

The Saints got back on track last week with a 28-14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which came a week after a lackluster 13-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

But the victory put Sean Payton's team in the driver's seat when it comes to possibly earning home-field advantage, and a win against the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football would help even more.

After the clash with the Panthers, the Saints will return home to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16.
