The Los Angeles Rams don't want Antonio Brown; the Seattle Seahawks don't want him either; the New England Patriots, well, no; what about the New Orleans Saints? That's a no.

Saints coach Sean Payton essentially shut down the possibility of adding him during Friday media availability. Via ESPN's Dian Russini:

“Right now where we are…I like our depth at that position. I haven’t paid much attention. I’m focused on the guys here.”

Payton won't outright say “no,” but his answer says it; there is a bit of coach lingo dissection to do here. “I like our depth at the position” is an easy tell that X team won't add X player. “I'm focused on the guys here” reaffirms that notion.

So much for seeing Antonio Brown play alongside Michael Thomas. But, hey! At least Saints fans can enter Brown's contest to win a touchdown ball from his one-week tenure with the Patriots; that's something, right?

It's relatively easy to see why coaches are immediately turning down the possibility of signing Brown, especially the successful ones. If Mike Tomlin, Jon Gruden, and Bill Belichick can't deal with him in his current state, who can? Perhaps Vince McMahon.

Then there is everything else he has faced in 2019, including multiple recent sexual assault or rape allegations and accusations of disturbing text messages. Does anybody want an elite wide receiver who froze his feet, threatened to retire over a helmet, forced his way out of multiple situations, and made more enemies than friends?

At least New Orleans doesn't seem to.
