The Los Angeles Rams have been off to a blazing start to the 2018 season entering Week 9 as the last undefeated team in the league.

Much of their success has been fueled behind their explosive offense that has been among the most productive units in the NFL. According to Mike Triplett 0f ESPN, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has voiced that he believes that the Rams are a “must-watch” team this season.

Payton said the 8-0 Rams have “absolutely” become one of the “must-watch” teams when he studies other offenses around the NFL for ideas.

Los Angeles possesses a unique offensive system under head coach Sean McVay that has greatly utilized the plethora of talent that the team has on that side of the ball. This has all been anchored by the play of star running back Todd Gurley leading the charge as the primary feature of the game plan in both the running and passing game.

Gurley has been off to a phenomenal start to the year with a league-best 800 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns to go along with 31 receptions for 351 receiving yards and four touchdowns. This has helped fuel the play of Pro Bowl quarterback Jared Goff where he has excelled to a further extent in the second year in McVay's offense that has seen him utilize his receiving core talent with Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, and Cooper Kupp.

All of this has equated to the Rams currently holding the top running game in the league while ranking seventh in passing, and third in scoring with 33.0 points per game.

This has all put a big challenge ahead of the Saints to have to game plan against on an explosive offense in Week 9 action, which should turn out to be a highly entertaining matchup between two of the top teams in the league.
