While New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill has returned to practice as a full-time participant, it doesn't mean he's 100 percent healthy.

Hill suffered a torn tendon in his middle finger during their Week 13 game against the Dallas Cowboys, raising fears that he could miss some time since it's the same injury Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson sustained earlier in the campaign. However, it's deemed to be not as severe as Wilson's–which is why he was able to return to training with the team.

Nonetheless, Hill himself admitted that he is still experiencing level of discomfort, especially when it comes to gripping the ball. For now, he is trying to get used to playing with the splint and hopefully be ready in time for Week 14.

Taysom Hill is expected to start for the Saints on Sunday when they play the New York Jets. However, there is certainly a reason to be a little worried about his condition moving forward, especially if his injured finger continues to bother him and affect his play.

The Saints are bottom of the NFC South with a 5-7 record, but they are on a three-way tie with the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons–giving them hope that they can still make the playoffs.

With that said, they really need Hill to be at his absolute best if they want to keep their postseason hopes alive. Hopefully, though, he'll be able to heal and adjust quickly to his condition.
