The New Orleans Saints will be heading to the NFC divisional round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without a couple of their key players on their corner. Backup playmaker Taysom Hill (knee) and running back Latavius Murray (quadriceps) are expected to sit out after being listed as questionable prior to the game, per NFL‘s Ian Rapoport.

Both players saw action in the team's Wild Card matchup against the Chicago Bears. However, the two of them only came out with measly outputs on the field. Hill was limited to tally five receiving yards on two touches along with 15 rushing yards on four carries.

On the other hand, Murray only ran nine rushing yards on four carries. Despite being contained in the running game, Murray still managed to find other ways to contribute as he scored a receiving touchdown on 11 yards and two catches.

Thanks to a collaborative effort from the team, the Saints were able to lead from start to finish as they easily dispatched the Bears en route to a 21-9 victory. The win allowed them to punch their ticket to the NFC divisional round and set up a showdown against division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With both Hill and Murray poised to sit out against the Bucs, other members of the Saints' second unit are expected to step up in light of their absences. Even with a depleted lineup, the Saints are still looking forward to making it back to the NFC Championship Game for the first time since 2018.
