Taysom Hill is one of the New Orleans Saints' most interesting weapons this year.

The backup quarterback has an incredible skill-set, possessing the ability to throw the football, run the football, return kicks and catch passes.

In the third quarter of the NFC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon, Hill caught the first touchdown pass of his career, hauling in a two-yarder from Drew Brees:

Prior to Hill's touchdown grab, Sean Payton attempted to have Hill throw a touchdown pass, but Hill threw an incompletion to Alvin Kamara.

Not to be denied, Payton stuck with Hill, but changed up his strategy a bit on the following play, setting Hill in motion and setting him up for New Orleans' second touchdown of the game.

On the year, Hill rushed for 196 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 5.3 yards per carry. He also caught three passes and returned 14 punts for 348 yards.

Oh, and he completed three of his seven pass attempts for 64 yards and an interception.

While Hill has been used in a ton of different roles, the Saints also have high hopes for Hill as a quarterback going forward, and it is entirely possible that he will be Brees' heir apparent once Brees decides to hang up his cleats.

Hill, who played his collegiate football at BYU, went undrafted but signed with the Green Bay Packers as a free agent in May 2017. He was then waived before the 2017 campaign before being signed by the Saints. He was promoted to New Orleans' active roster last December.
