New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith decided that hauling in a reception from quarterback Drew Brees during the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons was vastly more important than keeping his helmet attached. Going across the middle of the field, Smith began to haul in Brees' pass, only to have his helmet knocked off midway through the process.

The reception was Smith's first since Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams when he hauled in three catches for 45 yards. Back in the mix after having recovered from an ankle injury that cost him three games, Smith wasn't letting his sixth grab of the year pass him by.

The Saints drive culminated with a 28-yard field goal off the foot of Will Lutz. Brees distributed passes to seven different receivers through the drive, although none appear more hungry for hauling the ball in than Smith.
