Sam Darnold and the New York Jets seem to be crumbling under Adam Gase with three consecutive losses. Next up on the schedule is the New York Giants, who have had their own issues to deal with in recent weeks.

In Week 9, the Jets suffered their worst defeat of the season after losing to the Miami Dolphins 26-18. The worst part of the loss is that the Dolphins had yet to win a game before facing the Jets. Also, they only had one game that a deficit of fewer than 10 points.

During the loss, Darnold continued to falter in Gase's offense with 260 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. It goes without saying that Darnold's second season in the NFL has completely gone off of the rails.

As for the Giants, they have lost five consecutive games and Daniel Jones is making plenty of rookie miscues. This could possibly be a game that the Jets are able to show some life on offense. In light of that, here are three bold predictions for Darnold in Week 10 versus the Giants.

3. Darnold will throw for 300 yards

Nearly a month ago, Darnold and the Jets were able to upset the Dallas Cowboys in his first game back from mononucleosis. However, since then, he has completed only 58.4 percent of his attempts for 564 yards in his last three starts.

Back in Week 7 against the New England Patriots, the second-year quarterback had a career-low 86 yards and four interceptions. Despite his recent outings, he will exceed 300 passing yards on Sunday against the Giants.

Over his first 18 starts in the NFL, Darnold only has three games where he has thrown for over 300 yards through the air. The Giants also have the 25th ranked pass defense in the NFL.

2. Darnold will throw three touchdowns

Even with Darnold showing some signs of regression, there is still that quarterback we've seen throw for 341 yards and three touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers in 2018. The young quarterback has only had one performance this year that has flashed his potential as the Jets' franchise quarterback.

In his first two seasons, Darnold only has two games where he has thrown for two touchdowns. The former Trojan will have his third-career game where he completes three touchdowns in Week 10.

The Giants have given up 16 passing touchdowns in 2019 (25th in the NFL).

1. Darnold will win by more than 10 points

Of all the bold predictions, the boldest of them all is that Darnold will win this game by more than 10 points. As this article is being written, the Jets are 2.5-point underdogs to the Giants on Sunday.

Since being the team's starting quarterback, Darnold only has two wins that have been decided by more than 10 points. This week, Darnold will increase that number to three with a victory over his intra-city rivals.

Without a doubt, there's a chance that this game ends up being a blowout with the Giants coming out on top. But this is a bold prediction article and all of these things have a chance of not occurring.
