A new SD Gundam game is coming soon to mobile, as Bandai Namco announced the arrival of SD Gundam G Generation Eternal.

A new SD Gundam game called SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is coming both to Android and iOS. The announcement came during last week’s Gundam Game Fest, which also featured the upcoming Gundam Evolution multiplayer arena shooting game and Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2, which is also a multiplayer team-based action game.

With a yet-to-be-announced release date, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is expected to launch this year, with a Closed Beta Testing phase coming really soon. Sadly, the game’s official website currently has no information yet relevant to the game’s release date and methods of pre-registering.

The new mobile game will feature a story inspired by the original Gundam works. Players will be able to create their own Gundam troops, with their creativity allowing them to make troops that don’t exist in the manga or anime series. The game appears to draw a lot of inspiration from the earlier Mobile Suit Gundam media.

Meanwhile, the game appears to feature turn-based, tile-based strategy gameplay. Even the iconic F90 makes an appearance in the game’s official reveal trailer! We do hope Bandai Namco could share more details with us soon.
