The Seattle Seahawks just boosted their Super Bowl chances this 2020 by acquiring star safety Jamal Adams from the New York Jets. And if there's anyone more excited about the young safety other than the fans, it's Pro-Bowl linebacker Bobby Wagner.

In a recent interview with the team, Wagner shared his excitement for Adams. He also sees him having fun with the Seahawks defense.

“I don't think the defense needs to change,” Bobby Wagner said, per the Seahawks' website. “He's going to come in and fit in just fine. A lot of times there's certain defenses where we have the safety come into the box, which I think he's very comfortable in; a lot of times we have a safety come in and blitz, which he's very comfortable, so there's a lot of things that we do that really complements his game. There's a lot of things that we do that we feel can bring another element out of his game. So I think this defense should be really fun for him.”

The six-time Pro Bowler also pointed out that the addition of Adams would do nothing but help their chances in the upcoming 2020 NFL season. As a three-year safety for the Jets, Adams proved that he's a force to be reckoned with on defense, registering 273 combined tackles in 46 games.

Jamal Adams also landed at the No. 27 spot in the NFL's Top 100 list of 2020.

“I've always admired his game from afar, likewise with mine. So excited to have him on the team, excited that we're able to get that going. As far as his helping me, obviously it's another playmaker on the field, another guy that you have to respect, so he'll get a little bit of attention too… Jamal's an amazing player. I've watched him from afar, and he brings a lot of energy, a lot of passion to the game, and I'm excited to have him on our team,” the Seahawks star added.

It's certainly a great time to be a Seahawks fan. After all, having a game-changer like Jamal Adams raises hopes of a return to the Super Bowl and, possibly, lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
