The Seattle Seahawks lost a 23-20 overtime heartbreaker on Sunday to the Pittsburgh Steelers and wide receiver DK Metcalf has been criticized for it. The superstar caught a Geno Smith pass with just seconds left in regulation and instead of going out of bounds, attempted to gain more yards and fumbled the ball.

While the Seahawks recovered the ball and tied the game with a field goal, Shannon Sharpe hit Metcalf with a dose of criticism. Needless to say, he wasn't hearing any of it.

“Lil boy.” Sharpe wasn't going to take kindly to a youngster calling him that, and sure enough, he went off:

Metcalf surely didn't do the right thing in that situation. Smith got the Seahawks down the field with five perfect receptions to take them to the Steelers' 25-yard line. The wideout was lucky enough that Seattle got the ball back, but the smartest decision would've been to stop the clock and get out of bounds.

In the end, though, his mistake didn't come back to hurt the Seahawks. Pittsburg won fair and square in OT with a game-winning FG. As for Sharpe, the Undisputed host is never shy to voice his opinion on football matters. Nevertheless, I'm sure Metcalf will learn from his mistake next time around.
