The Seattle Seahawks are off to a dreadful 3-7 start this season and the playoffs look to be a longshot at this point. However, it seems star wide receiver DK Metcalf still has the belief they can turn things around.

This is what Metcalf tweeted out on Friday ahead of the Seahawks' Week 12 matchup with the Washington Football Team on Monday:

Very, very bold. It would be hard to even comprehend Seattle winning seven straight given how poor the team has looked this season. Their offense is towards the bottom of the NFL in every notable category and the defense hasn't fared much better. The absence of Russell Wilson didn't help the Seahawks' case, but it's pretty clear this is not their year.

Looking at their remaining schedule as well, there are some tough games ahead. Pete Carroll's squad still has to face the Rams, Cardinals, and 49ers. It's not impossible to go unbeaten from this point on, but it would be extremely difficult. The Seahawks currently sit at the bottom of their division.

Metcalf will have to up his production, too. After notching over 1,300 yards receiving in 2020, the ex-Ole Miss standout has just 637 yards to his name this season to go along with eight touchdowns. Most of that damage came through the first handful of contests though, with Metcalf struggling lately.

We'll see if he and the Seahawks can grab a victory on Monday Night Football after back-t0-back losses.
