DK Metcalf has proven that he is capable of boxing out defenders to make catches for the Seattle Seahawks, but he's also capable of translating his game to the basketball court. In a video that was posted on social media, Metcalf showed off his hops as he converted an impressive dunk.

Coming out of Ole Miss, Metcalf was a freakish athlete for his uncanny size at the wide receiver position. Standing at 6-foot-4, weighing around 230 pounds, Metcalf is one of the fastest players in the entire NFL.

Metcalf flashed his blazing speed when he chased down Budda Baker after an interception in a Week 7 showdown with the Arizona Cardinals. Despite the Seahawks losing the game, everyone was buzzing about Metcalf's insane play to save a touchdown.

In his second season in the NFL, Metcalf just posted 83 receptions for 1,303 yards and 10 touchdowns. The 23-year-old wideout is quickly becoming one of the best players at his position as he benefits from having Russell Wilson as his quarterback.

But when you're an athlete that has out-of-this-world athleticism, you tend to pick up interest in other sports. It appears that Metcalf likes to spend some of his off-time playing basketball, and he makes dunking a basketball look as easy as riding a scooter.

With All-Star Weekend right around the corner, the NBA Slam Dunk Contest is poised to take place with fans across the globe tuning in. Even though it will never happen, it would be interesting to see how an athlete like Metcalf would fare in a dunk contest against other professional athletes.
