Doug Baldwin had a decent season last year, but the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver was never healthy. Baldwin missed just three games, but he was battling injuries the entire season. He fought through them and was a large reason why the team was able to make the playoffs, but it was clear watching him that he wasn't 100 percent.

Baldwin ended up undergoing surgery on his knee and his shoulder after the season ended, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. Condotta noted that Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Baldwin should be recovered and ready to go by the time the season rolls around.

Baldwin finished the season with 50 catches for 618 yards and five touchdowns. They're respectable numbers, but it was the lowest yardage total for Baldwin since he became a starter in 2013. Each of the previous three seasons, he had at least 991 yards and seven touchdowns.

Baldwin is 30 now and took a back seat to Tyler Lockett at times this past season. The Seahawks are also committed to a run-first offense that passes the ball at one of the lowest rates in the league, so Baldwin might not be back to putting up the monster numbers he has in the past even if he's fully healthy next year.

That being said, Baldwin is still a prime bounce-back candidate for the 2019 season. He came on strong toward the end of the regular season as he got a little bit healthier, and he had a 127-yard outburst in Week 15. The Seahawks caught a ton of flak for not passing the ball more in their Wild Card round playoff loss to the Dallas Cowboys, so it's possible they get more aggressive next year. Baldwin is heading into the fourth year of a five-year, $47.5 million contract he signed back in 2016.
