Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin’s injury-hit season continues. Baldwin missed practice Wednesday due to a shoulder injury, per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

Baldwin has dealt with several injuries this year to both knees, as well as his hip, elbow, and groin which have contributed to him missing three games. It remains to be seen if his shoulder injury is serious enough to see him miss a fourth game in Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Baldwin’s numerous maladies have significantly hampered his on-field production. He has just 48 catches for 591 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games this season after averaging 82 receptions for over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns over the past three seasons.

Baldwin just had by far his best game of the season last week in the Seahawks’ big win against the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran wideout had seven catches for 126 yards — easily a new season-high — and a touchdown.

The Seahawks clinched a playoff berth with that win, although they could drop to the No. 6 seed if they lose to the Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles win.

With the Cardinals hardly looking competitive and in line for the No. 1 pick in the draft, the Seahawks should still be able to win without Baldwin. And with the playoffs set to begin, Seattle might be better off sitting the veteran and trying to get him as healthy as possible for the wild-card round.

If Baldwin does miss out, the likes of Jaron Brown and David Moore will need to step up opposite the team’s top receiver this season, Tyler Lockett.

As it stands, Seattle is a 13.5-point favorite at home against Arizona, according to BetOnline.ag. To place a bet on the game or any others, click here and use promo code CLUTCH50 for a 50% Welcome Bonus when you signup with BetOnline.ag!
