Jadeveon Clowney's hit on Carson Wentz in the Wild Card round ended the fourth-year quarterback's playoff debut prematurely. The Philadelphia Eagles put in the 40-year-old Josh McCown to replace him. The Seattle Seahawks won 17-9.

Clowney is done talking about the hit that concussed Wentz. Instead, he's moving on to the Seahawks' next competition, the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

We’re still playing,” Clowney said Thursday, via Gregg Bell of The News Tribune. “I’m past that. I’m on to Green Bay. Looking forward to this game.”

The Seahawks defensive end will earn some punishment for the hit, likely a fine. However, it did not cost Seattle in the game, as the officials did not throw out a yellow flag after Clowney's hit. They dubbed it “incidental contact.”

For Clowney, the only thing on his mind is the Packers. He figures that the best way to limit Aaron Rodgers' offense is to pressure him consistently, with an emphasis on third downs.

“I’ve been watching their game, them against the 49ers,” Clowney said. “The losses that they did take, it was all because of the pressure, applying as much pressure and get off [the field on] third downs. I think it’s going to be the same thing for us. We’ve got to get pressure, and get off on third downs.”

The Seahawks and Packers have their fair share of recent postseason history. For Clowney, he's about to get a taste of the out-of-division rivalry. The last time he went to the divisional round of the playoffs, he was a member of the Houston Texans.
