The Seattle Seahawks saw their brief two-game winning streak come to an end on Sunday, as they fell to the New York Giants, 17-12. It wasn't exactly a great showing from Seattle's offense, and for his part, Seahawks safety Jamal Adams admitted how the defeat left a sour taste in his mouth.

According to the Seahawks safety, losing to New York does not sit well with him at all:

“I’m pissed off,” Adams said, via Curtis Crabtree of KJR and PFT (h/t Josh Alper of PFT). “You know, coming from where I came from, New York team, it just hits a little bit different for me, you know what I mean. . . . We’re gonna figure it out, we’re gonna we’re gonna you know correct your mistakes, but it definitely stings. . . . This is a tough loss, obviously it’s not where we want it. But we’ll figure it out. Guaranteed. Guaranteed, we’ll figure it out.”

To make matters worse, the Giants were actually without starting quarterback Daniel Jones in this one, which forced them to rely primarily on their ground game for pretty much the entire contest. Nevertheless, Seattle was unable to pull off a win over Colt McCoy and Co., giving up 14 points in a game-changing third quarter after taking a 5-0 lead at halftime. The Seahawks were just never able to get anything going on offense.

The good news for the Seahawks is they get another New York team next week in the lowly New York Jets. The 25-year-old New Jersey native clearly has a bit of a personal vendetta against New York teams, so Week 14 against the Jets should be a great bounce-back opportunity for both himself and the Seahawks. Adams, of course, started his career with the Jets before a trade to Seattle this past summer.
