The Seahawks offensive line has been the achilles heel for the past couple seasons, however, they have played much better throughout the 2018 season. Sweezy has been a big part of that success for the Seahawks on a roster that looked to be no where near playoff ready coming into the season.
The Seahawks have looked fantastic in the second half of the season and their victory over the offensive juggernaut Kansas City Chiefs solidified their relevancy. Seattle will presumably play against a very strong team; whether it's the Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears, or Dallas Cowboys they will have their hands very full.
Sweezy will undoubtedly be needed back, but if he misses the three to four weeks he is presumed to miss, the Seahawks will be without their offensive guard for most of the playoffs assuming they hope to make another Super Bowl run.
This is a costly injury as well as well as a very untimely one, however if any team can overcome adversity it's the Seahawks. If Sweezy can make it back quicker than this timeline, it'll be extremely beneficial for the offense.
