The Seattle Seahawks and Marshawn Lynch have begun to discuss a possible return for the 2020 season. While the offseason continues to roll along, Lynch spoke about a possible return, with his elegant communication skills.

“Well, it's almost on that ‘expect the unexpected,'” Lynch told ESPN's Scott Van Pelt on Monday when asked about his future. “But just as far as right now, what I do know is, Imma keep it solid. My agent [Doug Hendrickson] has been in talks with Seattle, so like I said, we'll see what happens. If it works out and I get back up there, it is what it is. And if not, s—, I'm lookin' good. So I ain't really trippin' too much.”

Last season, the Seahawks reunited with Lynch after Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny sustained season-ending injuries. The Seattle legend would make his debut in Week 17 versus the San Francisco 49ers, rushing for 34 yards and a touchdown.

As for the postseason, Lynch would combine for 33 rushing yards and three scores for the Seahawks. Before he re-signed with Seattle in 2019, Lynch was in free agency, enjoying his time outside of football. But the five-time Pro Bowler made it clear that he wouldn't return unless it was with the Seahawks.

If Lynch were to return for another season in 2020, he would make somewhere around $1.05 million. Despite turning 34 years old last month, Lynch remains open to the idea of suiting up for the Seahawks again. On the other hand, if both sides can't come to an agreement, in Lynch's words, he wouldn't be ‘trippin'.
