Former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is taking a crack at professional hockey. Well, not really.

Beast Mode recently went for a leisurely skate with Akim Aliu, who himself is an unrestricted free agent in the NHL, and it's as entertaining as you would have imagined (h/t Arun Srinivasan of Yahoo Sports):

Marshawn Lynch was in full hockey gear — repping the Colorado Avalanche — as he rather impressively tried to navigate the rink. The 34-year-old isn't exactly someone you'd call a natural on the ice, but you could clearly see in the clip that he isn't lacking for confidence.

While he does seem to have some potential for professional hockey, there's no denying that Lynch's first love still remains to be football. So much so, that the former SuperBowl champ appears to be considering a return for 2021. Having already come out of retirement twice in the past, we all might see a Lynch comeback for a third time during the offseason:

“If the situation is right, then I mean, it could happen,” Marshawn Lynch said in a recent interview with Conan O'Brien, via John Breech of NC Sports. “I've been asked the question by a couple teams here recently. Like, ‘Are you ready?' I'm ready if you all are Super Bowl ready. That's what it would take me to come out, to come and play again. It would have to be a guaranteed Super Bowl game for me.”

Lynch appears to be totally serious about returning in 2021, and according to his statement above, he's already in negotiations with a “couple of teams.” It looks like the tested veteran still has some gas left in the tank, so seeing him back on the field next season could be a real possibility.
