Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll believes that linebacker Bobby Wagner will be good to go for his team's pivotal Week 16 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, per Andy Patton of Seahawks Wire.

Wagner is nursing a sprained ankle he suffered during the Seahawks' win over the Carolina Panthers last week.

“He would probably be probable/questionable at this time if we had to label it,” Carroll said on Wednesday. “We don’t know. He wanted me to make sure and not be optimistic. I said I can’t do that, you’re gonna play, I know you’re gonna play.”

Wagner added that he feels “amazing.”

With the San Francisco 49ers' stunning loss to the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday, the Seahawks jumped ahead of the 49ers for first place in the NFC West.

However, Seattle still has work to do.

While the Cardinals don't have an impressive record, they are dangerous, and the Seahawks still have a Week 17 meeting with San Francisco on tap.

Obviously, it would be nice to have Wagner for these final two games.

On the season, Wagner has logged 139 tackles, a couple of sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and six passes defended, en route to his sixth straight Pro Bowl selection.

The 29-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Utah State, was originally selected by Seattle in the second round (47th pick overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

In addition to his Pro Bowl appearances, Wagner has also notched First-Team All-Pro honors four times and currently has a streak of three straight selections going.
