When the Seattle Seahawks brought in Brandon Marshall this offseason they were hoping it would be another veteran receiver for Russell Wilson but it hasn't really worked out so far and Pete Carroll dropped some hints that his playing time could be decreasing.

Carroll said that they would be making in 2017 7th round pick David Moore into games more and that could come at the expense of Brandon Marshall. Marshall has dropped four passes in the last two games and for a veteran those type of results are unacceptable.

Marshall has been targeted 21 times so far this season and has only turned that into 10 catches. Compare that to Tyler Lockett who has been targeted 23 times and has turned that into 17 catches.

The Seahawks have been terrible on third down so far this year, and a big reason has been Marshall dropping some key passes.

Moore is a second-year player from East Central University whose first two catches of his career came against the Arizona Cardinals. He also did have one fumble but it's clear that Carroll is still willing to give him a shot.

It will be interesting to watch as the season goes on what they decide to do with Marshall. Will they keep him around to ride the pine or could they release the veteran wide receiver? Earlier this season they released veteran defensive tackle Tom Johnson and that surprised a lot of people. Are they prepared to do that with Marshall who has had a nice NFL career?
