Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is clearly excited about the improvement that C.J. Prosise is making this offseason.

The Seahawks have made the playoffs in six of the last seven seasons, and a consistent running attack will certainly play a key role in having a chance at another postseason appearance.

And Carroll thinks Prosise is making the necessary strides to find his way into the backfield rotation, which also includes Chris Carson and Rashad Penny.

From John Boyle of the team's official website:

Injuries have limited Prosise's production with the franchise since being drafted in the third round in 2016, as he had just one carry last season.

But with the Seahawks using the running back by committee approach in recent seasons, there's no doubt that Carroll loves to have options to work with during training camp.

Carson and Penny figure to be the top running back options at this point, but Carroll and his staff would certainly love to be able to add Prosise to the mix this season.
