The Seattle Seahawks have made a lot of changes in recent years and have seen numerous players come and go, but one player that is staying put is quarterback Russell Wilson.

Wilson constantly finds himself as an underdog in the MVP race and this season was no different. Unfortunately, the Seahawks season was cut short this past Saturday after a loss at AT&T Stadium to the Dallas Cowboys. Wilson played a great game and played as a great dual threat, rushing for a touchdown and passed for one against a tough Dallas defense.

Wilson has lead the Seahawks to two Super Bowl appearances in his young career considering the former Wisconsin star has plenty of elite years left to play. Wilson helped lead the Seahawks in team rushing this season in yards and yards per carry.

Head coach Pete Carroll has made it clear that Wilson will be with the Seahawks for the long haul and he is undoubtedly the face of the franchise. Without him, it's likely Seattle wouldn't have made it to one Super Bowl let alone two despite having the league's best defense for many seasons.

The Seahawks will likely turn to adding some defensive help to take pressure off Wilson, and the offense considering the Seahawks had plenty of playmakers emerge on offense. The offensive line played to a much higher standard than they had in previous seasons which helped Wilson find the success he had this season. Seattle's prized quarterback won't be going anywhere, anytime soon.
