The Seattle Seahawks have brought in plenty of new faces this offseason. They now have a better idea of their roster personnel at the conclusion of organized team activities.

Among the biggest questions facing the Seahawks this year is which player will step up as their potential workhorse. According to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, someone who's caught the eye of head coach Pete Carroll has been running back C.J. Prosise, whose spot on the Seahawks this season is anything but certain:

But Prosise has been healthy this offseason, on the field for everything during the OTAs open to the media and Carroll also volunteered his name Thursday saying “C.J. has really jumped out, too. He’s looked good now. He knows he’s battling (for a roster spot).’’

It is encouraging to see that Prosise may be finally turning the corner for Seattle. It is no secret that he has gotten off to a rough start to his career.

The former third-round pick out of Washington showed plenty of promise early on. Unfortunately, he has not been able to stay healthy enough to make a lasting impact. Prosise has only played in 11 out of 32 possible games thus far in his career. As a result, it appears he is battling it out for a spot on the roster.

The Seahawks have made it no secret that they hope to establish a strong running game outside of quarterback Russell Wilson. That said, Prosise will face plenty of competition this offseason for an integral role in the offense.

As of right now, his chances do not bode well with the team taking running back Rashaad Penny in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. It also appears fellow running back Chris Carson has caught Carroll's eye in OTA's as well.
