At least one of the key members of the Legion of Boom is expected to play tonight.

According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman will play against the Arizona Cardinals while safety Earl Thomas will be held out for the second straight week.

Sherman, who is dealing with an Achilles issue, was listed as questionable on the injury report earlier this week while Thomas was given the doubtful designation. The four-time First Team All-Pro safety also missed last week's game against the Washington Redskins after hurting his hamstring late the previous Sunday against the Houston Texans. Both players didn't practice this week.

Sherman and Thomas are both vital members of the Legion of Boom, along with Kam Chancellor. Thomas broke his tibia last season and Seattle's defense struggled mightily in his absence. Sherman often shuts down his side of the field, so losing both would've seriously compromised the secondary against a Cardinals passing attack hoping to find a rhythm with Drew Stanton under center.

After tonight, Thomas will at least have an extended break before Seattle's next game in Week 11. After playing the Cardinals tonight, the Seahawks' remaining schedule includes matchups against the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, and Arizona again.
