The Seattle Seahawks are going into their divisional matchup against the Los Angeles Rams shorthanded on Sunday, as both Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde have been ruled out with injuries, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Seahawks are going to roll with rookie running back Deejay Dallas in hopes that he can produce similar numbers from the previous two weeks. Along with Dallas, the ‘Hawks activated running back Alex Collins, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Over Seattle's last two games, Dallas has a total of 72 rushing yards and 25 receiving yards to go along with three total touchdowns. Not amazing production, but it was definitely more than expected from the third-string running back.

It's not like Seattle should be running the ball against the Rams anyway. Los Angeles is rank fifth in rushing yards allowed per game at only 95 yards per game. With big defensive tackles like Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers in the game, the Seahawks rushing attack would have been a non-factor.

Regardless, losing Carson and Hyde definitely hurts the Seahawks going into Sunday's must-win divisional matchup. Seattle will have to, once again, rely on “letting Russ cook” in order for them to have a fighting chance.

The Seahawks are coming off of a loss in Buffalo and are looking to regain their momentum to take control of the division. The Rams, on the other hand, are coming off of a bye and can move to first place in the division with a win. The Rams are 2-1 coming off of bye weeks since Sean McVay has taken over as head coach. They're also unbeaten at home this year.
