Josh Gordon is suspended indefinitely but quarterback Russell Wilson hopes the two will get another chance to play together on the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson was asked on Thursday about Gordon's time with the team and he had nothing but praise for how he handled himself in the locker room.

“Hopefully he’ll get another chance to play with us because he was fun to play with,” Wilson said via Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. “He was great. He got along with the guys great. Great worker. Had all those attributes in terms of trying to be great, in terms of practicing and being ready to play. Guys really bonded with him and really liked him. I know I did and everybody else, too. We feel for him. We’re just praying for him.”

Wilson said in the little time that Gordon was with the team they became very close and that Wilson has been doing a lot of praying for him.

“I got pretty close with Josh,” Wilson said. “You’re going to miss him obviously as a player, but more importantly as a friend and as a guy you bonded with pretty quickly. We’ve been staying in touch and all that. I just pray for him. I really believe that prayer works. I really believe that relationships and friendships work in supporting no matter what we go through.

The big question now is if the NFL will allow Gordon back into the league. Gordon entered the league in 2012 and has been suspended eight times. Many believed that this last time in the NFL was Gordon's last shot in the NFL. Hopefully, Gordon has some people in his corner like Wilson who can help him get through this latest setback.
