Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson spoke about the opportunity for the team to add to its receiving corps this offseason.

Wilson told CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora he would be open to the Seahawks acquiring the likes of Josh Gordon or Antonio Brown.

Russ praised Gordon for the work he did in his five games with the Seahawks last year, while also stating the team would welcome a dangerous playmaker like Brown.

Gordon had just seven receptions in those five games last year, but he averaged 19.9 yards per catch and was a dangerous deep threat opposite DK Metcalf.

The former All-Pro was suspended indefinitely by the NFL in December, but also applied for reinstatement in June, citing a lapse because of the death of his brother.

Brown—who remains a free agent—is also under suspension after the NFL handed him an eight-game ban at the end of July.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said earlier this month the team was indeed interested in both Brown and Gordon (via Brady Henderson of ESPN):

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll acknowledged that the team has interest in Antonio Brown, saying general manager John Schneider has been monitoring the All-Pro wide receiver's “complex” situation.

Carroll went a step further when asked about the team's interest in another suspended wide receiver, saying the Seahawks are “very open” to a reunion with Josh Gordon.

It remains to be seen whether Gordon will receive his reinstatement, and Brown might face additional discipline from the league.

Regardless, Wilson would love to the Seahawks sign either receiver as Seattle's offense looks to take the next step this fall.
