The Seattle Seahawks managed to secure a dominant 27-10 win against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4. Regardless, quarterback Russell Wilson feels the team may have underperformed.

The Seahawks managed to outplay the Cardinals in nearly every facet of their first NFC West showdown of the 2019 NFL season. According to Gregg Bell of The News Tribune, Wilson says Seattle did not even play to its full potential:

“And the crazy thing is, we could have been better.” a “complete team effort”

Wilson's comments are indicative of the expectations he has for this team this season. The prospect of Seattle being capable if kicking things up a notch is certainly an encouraging one. It is clear that their star quarterback feels they are more than capable of doing just that.

The Seahawks were clicking on all cylinders to start the game. However, they then came out rather flat in the second half. Wilson himself was rather efficient after completing 22 of 28 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown. His modest production is to be expected given his role as the ringleader of this run-heavy offense. Their approach resulted in a big day from running back Chris Carson and allowed them to chew precious time off the clock.

Despite the efficient day from both him and Carson, Wilson knows full that they will be facing their biggest test of the year against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. Seattle will be on a short week with these two teams squaring off on Thursday. The Rams defense is currently as vulnerable as ever after allowing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to score a whopping 55 points.
