There's little margin for error for the Seattle Seahawks this season. Entering their Week 13 showdown against the San Francisco 49ers with a 3-8 record, their postseason chances were basically on its last legs.

But the Seahawks persevered, holding on for a 30-23 win in a scoreless 4th quarter. Russell Wilson was all smiles after the win, which snapped the three-game losing streak since his return from a finger injury.

Via CBS:

“It was an NFC West battle, that's for sure,” said Wilson after the Seahawks win. “It's always craziness in the NFC West.”

“Y'know what we showed? We showed resolve. We showed that no matter what the circumstances are. No matter everything, everybody talking, this and that, that we can be neutral and stay the course. … We knew we had to win this one.”

Russell Wilson stepped up for the Seahawks on Sunday, finishing 30 of 37 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns. Their offensive production was just enough to hold on, even as the Niners threatened at the goal line in the closing minute of the fourth quarter.

It's still an uphill climb for the Seattle Seahawks as their 4-8 record has them in a pretty significant hole. This win could be the very first step out of it.
