The Seattle Seahawks addressed their offensive line in the 2020 NFL Draft, taking Damien Lewis with the No. 69 pick. After joining the Seahawks, Lewis predicted a Super Bowl victory while speaking to Russell Wilson.

This entire offseason, the Seahawks have made a concerted effort to bolster the offensive line. Besides signing Brandon Shell and B.J. Finney, Seattle now adds Lewis to their offensive trenches for next season.

In his first eight seasons in the NFL, Wilson has been sacked more than 40 times in seven of them. As a matter of fact, the last season he wasn't sacked more than 40 times came in 2012 — his rookie season.

Earlier this offseason, Wilson hinted that the Seahawks need to begin surrounding him with more talent. Even though Lewis isn't a skill player, Wilson likely won't complain about getting someone that can help keep him upright.

Lewis, who played collegiately at LSU, isn't a stranger to winning games, helping LSU win the National Championship in 2019. While playing in the interior of the offensive line, Lewis was an absolute mauler, creating holes for Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Standing at 6-foot-2, 327 pounds, Lewis is a perfect fit for Seattle's ground-and-pound style of offense. When he gets his hands on his defender, there's a good chance that the defender isn't getting around him.

To finish his career at LSU, Lewis played a pivotal role in the team being able to win the National Championship over Clemson. Now, with the Seahawks, Lewis hopes that he can be part of a championship roster in the NFL.
