The Seattle Seahawks made an adjustment to their 53-man active roster Tuesday by releasing wide receiver Keenan Reynolds, who had just been promoted from the practice squad three days earlier, per Charean Williams of ProFootballTalk.

Running back J.D. McKissic returned to the practice field last week, and it seems he'll be active for the remainder of the season. This move was like made with McKissic in mind.

The 23-year-old Reynolds finally made his NFL debut in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears. He did not register a single reception as the Seahawks went on to lose the game, 24-17.

Through two games this season, Reynolds did not record a single reception.

Doug Baldwin's status before their game against the Carolina Panthers was unknown. But it was confirmed that he could play during the pregame warmups. As a result, Reynolds was not given playing time in their 30-27 win.

Now, Reynolds must find an opportunity with another team. He came to the league after being drafted in the sixth round by the Baltimore Ravens in 2016.

Having played as a quarterback in college for Navy, Reynolds turned into a wide receiver in the NFL. After spending a brief time with the Ravens, he was cut in September before the season started. He then signed with the practice squad of the team.

A year later, Reynolds was released again and signed with the Washington Redskins' practice squad. After being released, Reynolds signed with the Seahawks last May and was promoted to the active roster for the first time in his career last September.
