The first NFL Sunday of the season is upon us, and there have already been a number of awesome highlights. In the second quarter of the Seattle Seahawks' game against the Indianapolis Colts, quarterback Russell Wilson sent an absolutely beautiful 69-yard pass over the Colts' defense into the waiting hands of wide receiver Tyler Lockett, who outran two Indianapolis defenders and laid the ball in the end zone.

Lockett and Wilson's connection might be what puts Seahawks fans at ease, as the team had a lot of internal drama this summer, specifically around whether Wilson would remain with the team. It was actually Lockett who was determined to squash any rumors about the star quarterback leaving, speaking on NFL Network's Good Morning Football in July of this year. If the first game is any indication, Wilson will not be going anywhere and will continue to send out great passes to his wide receiver.

This long touchdown reception was actually Lockett's second of the game. Seattle's offense is clicking on all cylinders so far against a Colts defense that was one of the better units in the NFL last season. The Seahawks are off to a great start in this extremely important season.
