Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett should be okay after visiting the hospital due to severe leg swelling, according to Adam Jude of The Seattle Times.

“He should be OK,” Carroll said. “It shouldn’t be a big problem going forward. … There’s concern there could be some complications when you have something like that.”

After Monday night's game, Carroll said there was some concern about a possible compartment syndrome because of the swelling in his leg. This is good news for a Seahawks team that has leaned heavily on Lockett for the offensive success this year. So far this season Lockett has caught 62 passes for 793 yards and six touchdowns.

According to Carroll, the injury could have been a lot more serious but since the Seahawks medical staff was on the issue right away, they were ahead of the curve and that helped eliminate the damage.

The Seahawks moved to 6-2 with a big win over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night that has moved them right back into the conversation to win the NFC West. With the win, the Seahawks have taken back control of their own destiny because the two teams will face off again in the last game of the season. If both teams can win out to that point, that game will decide the NFC West champion.

The Seahawks don't have an easy schedule moving forward but they do have a bye this upcoming week which gives Lockett an extra week to rest without having to miss any games.
