Injuries are the worst thing about the game of football. Unfortunately for the Seattle Seahawks, they're facing one right now. Wide receiver Tyler Lockett missed Wednesday's practice due to a back issue, according to ProFootballTalk.

The Seahawks better hope that this injury is nothing serious. Lockett is a key part of the offense after Doug Baldwin retired. Quarterback Russell Wilson developed quite the rapport with Lockett, as he had a perfect passer rating when targeting the former Kansas State Wildcat on deep balls. If Lockett does have to miss time, the receiving corps behind him doesn't look great.

Rookie wide receiver DK Metcalf played second fiddle to Lockett in Week 1, and was somewhat productive. But Metcalf struggled with staying healthy all throughout his collegiate career, so reliability is a concern. Behind Lockett and Metcalf, third-year receiver David Moore is the best option. Moore is somewhat reliable, albeit unspectacular.

If these receivers can stay healthy, Seattle becomes a team to be reckoned with. Wilson will always give them a shot at victory, and the running game is reliable. More importantly, the defense is great unit. New addition Jadeveon Clowney is a game wrecker, and he's not even the best defensive player on the team. Linebacker Bobby Wagner is an elite force in the middle, as well as a player who makes everyone around him better. If these Seattle Seahawks make the postseason, they'll be the team that no one wants to face.
