Russell Wilson recently made headlines when he seemed to voice out his dissatisfaction over the Seattle Seahawks' pass protection. In response to Wilson's comments, the Seahawks are reportedly upset that Wilson took his frustrations with the organization public, per Dan Patrick (h/t Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk).

The drama began when Wilson made an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show to speak about the 2020 season for the Seahawks. While discussing what he'd like to see Seattle do moving forward, Wilson uttered that he's tired of taking a ton of hits.

Also, Wilson opened up Pandora's Box when he said that he's unsure if the Seahawks have him available in trade talks. The assortment of issues that Wilson spoke about on Patrick's podcast apparently isn't sitting well with Seattle's front office.

Since Wilson was drafted by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, he's been sacked a whopping 394 times. After being sacked 33 times in his rookie campaign, Wilson has been sacked 41 or more times in every season since then. In the past three seasons alone, Wilson has been sacked 146 times.

Of course, Wilson is part of the blame for some of those sacks as he sometimes holds onto the ball too long like most quarterbacks who excel at creating plays with their legs. However, the Seahawks would be wise to make sure they address the offensive line this offseason.

In a time where the Houston Texans have done everything they can to upset Deshaun Watson, Seattle may want to make the necessary moves to keep Wilson on their roster for his entire career. Still, the Seahawks would have preferred the seven-time Pro Bowler to keep his frustrations private.
