The Seattle Seahawks have lost a lot of key pieces to their formidable defense this offseason – Richard Sherman, Michael Bennett, Shelden Richardson – and have yet to adequately replace them. They have yet to even land a meeting with star free agents like Ndamukong Suh, who has already visited a couple of suitors.

However, the Seahawks are still not out of the Suh Sweepstakes just yet, though. There's apparently some mutual interest between Seattle and the star defensive tackle. They could be able to discuss that interest in an actual visit, which the Seahawks are looking to set up sometime within the week.

Per Yahoo Sports’ Jordan Schultz:

With this in mind, it is also worth noting that the Seahawks remain in contention for Ndamukong Suh, considering the mutual interest and respect between both sides. However, an official visit has yet to be coordinated, though both sides are hoping to set one up this week.

Suh has already finished visiting two potential landing spots in the New Orleans Saints and the Tennessee Titans over the weekend. He also appears to have his next visit lined up, and it happens to be with the Seahawks’ NFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Rams.

Suh would obviously be a big get for the Seahawks, who have lost a lot of their star power on defense. He would also be an ideal fit in their 4-3 defense and fills a big need on the interior of their line following Richardson’s departure to the Minnesota Vikings.

However, the Seahawks face stiff competition for the star free agent in the form of the Rams. They will have to hope LA can’t strike a deal with Suh before they can even set up a visit with him.
