In the final minute of Sunday's 30-24 Jacksonville Jaguars win over the Seattle Seahawks, things became intensely heated.

With the Jaguars electing to run the clock out with a quarterback kneel, several players on the Seahawks defense became aggressive causing a fight between both sides that resulted in a pair of ejections with defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson and Quinton Jefferson.

On Jefferson's way off the field to the locker room, he was involved in a near scuffle with a few fans deciding to toss some alcoholic beverages in his direction nearly hitting him in multiple instances.

The incident will likely result in some form of action taken by the NFL that could see Jefferson receiving a hefty fine for his actions to attempt to climb into the stands. However, it was a natural reaction given that he had several drinks thrown at him for no particular rhyme or reason.

Following the game, Jefferson was quite vocal about his actions citing that he wouldn't allow another person to disrespect him in that manner.

All of this was initially sparked by an altercation earlier in the game that led to the Seahawks choosing to attack the Jaguars in victory formation. When quarterback Blake Bortles was going into a kneel several Seattle defenders attempted to dive at center Ryan Linder's knees. It quickly escalated after with numerous players on both sides getting physical with each other.

Ultimately, there should much more clarity to come with the situation on Monday.
