AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimović is free of COVID-19.

The Serie A star revealed the good news in a public service announcement that also promoted mask use. Ibrahimovic put on a mask at the end of the video.

Of course, Zlatan still found a way to deliver the important message as only Zlatan can to his 45 million Instagram followers.

“The virus has challenged me and I won,” his says in Italian on his balcony overlooking the city. “But you are not Zlatan, do not challenge the virus. Use your head. Respect the rules. Social distancing and masks, always. We will win.”

Ibrahimović initially shared the results of his positive test on Sept. 24. At the time, he warned the coronavirus that it was not a good idea to take him on (Zlatan is Chuck Norris, apparently).

“I tested negative to Covid yesterday and positive today. No symptoms what so ever. Covid had the courage to challenge me. Bad idea”

The striker went into quarantine at home after the test, per a statement from the football club. He missed three games while recovering and returned on Oct. 17, scoring two goals in the team's 2-1 victory over Inter Milan.

He leads the team in goals (7) in Serie A play and has led his club to the top of the table (13 points) through five matches.

Zlatan Ibrahimović signed a one-year contract with the club worth a reported $8.3 million. At his previous stop, he scored 52 goals with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The biggest star of Serie A, Christiano Ronaldo, will be forced to miss Juventus' upcoming clash with Lionel Messi and Barcelona after testing positive for COVID-19.
