Shaquille O'Neal is a man of many talents. He is a Hall of Fame basketball player who is considered one of the best centers of all-time. Additionally, Shaq is a basketball analyst, rapper, and actor. And now O'Neal is opening chicken restaurants in Texas, per the Dallas Morning News.

According to the article, Shaq is expected to open around 56 Big Chicken restaurants in North Texas. CEO Josh Halpern commented on the plan for the Big Chicken restaurants moving forward.

“I would be stunned if Plano was not in the cards,” he said. “We don’t want to over-saturate a market, but we’re willing to make this as big as we possibly can. If Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos want to talk, we’re happy to talk.”

One sandwich that stands out is the “Charles Barkley.” The sandwich named after Shaq's NBA on TNT co-star is smothered with fried chicken, mac and cheese, fried onions, and roasted garlic barbecue aioli. Although it isn't exactly the healthiest option, it's still expected to be a big hit at the restaurant.

However, arguably the most popular option is the M.D.E (Most Dominant Ever), which was named after Shaq himself. It is also a fried chicken-based sandwich. However, it comes with just sauce and pickles.

The NBA TNT crew needs to do a segment where they all attend one of Shaq's restaurants and try the “Charles Barkley.” That would be incredibly entertaining to say the least.

Shaq's business prowess is impressive. We will see how well these restaurants end up doing.
