Sentinels' inactive player Sinatraa's suspension has just been lifted. The pro player, suspended for sexual abuse allegations, spent six months on the sidelines during his suspension.

Sinatraa's suspension ended last September 10, six months after sexual abuse allegations were presented against him. VALORANT publishers Riot Games ran an investigation, taking into account the alleged victim and Sinatraa's ex-girlfriend, cle0, into consideration. When asked to cooperate in the investigation, Sinatraa refused, leading Riot Games to suspend him.

Now, the six-month suspension has elapsed, and Sinatraa, in theory, can start playing again. However, while teams have shown interest in signing the player, none of them have made any official announcements yet. Sinatraa's own organization, Sentinels, replaced him with TenZ starting in March. TenZ's performance with the team has been great so far, and it doesn't look like Sentinels is looking forward to swapping the two out. Sentinels team captain ShahZam implied on-stream as much.

Twitter reacts to Sinatraa's suspension being lifted

Sinatraa's case has remained unresolved. Cle0 has decided not to push charges, citing personal health reasons. Meanwhile, his return to the VALORANT scene continuously divides the community.

Many remain adamant that Sinatraa's suspension should be upheld. The argument goes that no proper trial has been done and that Sinatraa's refusal to cooperate with the investigation is tantamount to guilt.

There are also those who side with Sinatraa. Given that no court case proceeded, his supporters consider him innocent. Presumption of innocence is also thrown around, implying that without a guilty verdict, there's no reason to keep Sinatraa suspended.

But guilty or not, some question whether organizations will be willing to risk their PR image by signing a player currently under active investigation for sexual abuse.

But the most important thing to remember now is to stick with the facts. While Sinatraa has not been proven guilty, it's important to note that that doesn't automatically make him spotless. The accusations will remain up until Sinatraa completely proves himself innocent. At the same time, the accusations will remain just that – accusations, at least until a court case proceeds.
