The Singapore Major is on its final day tomorrow, with the top three teams set to fight for the championship. Evil Geniuses, PSG.LGD, and Invictus Gaming will be battling for the title of the Major. The winner will earn enough DPC points to qualify directly to The International, which makes tomorrow a really big deal. But before we head to tomorrow's matches, let's recap what happened today.

OB ESPORTS NEON GIVES TEAM SECRET A TOUGH TIME BEFORE BOWING DOWN (2-1)

The first series of today's playoffs was an instant classic. Team Secret, considered as the Final Boss of the tournament, experienced an upset in the upper bracket against PSG.LGD the previous day. Now, they face elimination against the tournament's remaining biggest underdog, OB Esports Neon. What many would have easily called in favor of Team Secret turned out to be one heck of a series.

Neon's Yopaj gallantly defended his team's chances of winning throughout the series. He had a very spectacular performance, especially on Game 3. However, the young team still doesn't have what it takes to beat Team Secret, especially not now when the team's roster isn't at its strongest form. Still, Neon Esports performed really well in the tournament and has nothing to be ashamed about. Losing to Team Secret the way they did is something they should learn from and can be proud of.

Exiting the tournament at joint 5th-6th place, Neon Esports takes home $25,000 and 300 DPC Points.

INVICTUS GAMING SILENCES THUNDER PREDATOR (2-1)

Next up was the matchup between Invictus Gaming and Thunder Predator. Thunder Predator, who was able to beat Virtus.pro yesterday, finally ends their amazing run today. Sadly, the beast we saw from the previous days seemed more tamed today. Invictus Gaming made easy work of Thunder Predator for the majority of their series, even in the one where Thunder Predator won. IG's loss in Game 1 felt like a warm-up match for them because IG dealt total domination in the following two games.

Now, with Thunder Predator out of the tournament, the two big underdogs of the Singapore Major are gone. Like OB Neon Esports, Thunder Predator will go home with $25,000 and 300 DPC Points. Meanwhile, Invictus Gaming heads to the next matchup, going against Team Secret. They will play later in the day, determining which team will head to the lower bracket finals.

EVIL GENIUSES SECURE TOP 2 IN THE SINGAPORE MAJOR, BEATS PSG.LGD (2-1)

Evil Geniuses shook off their third-place curse by securing Top 2 in the Singapore Major with their win over PSG.LGD. They opened up the series with a serious stomp. Their supports flocked the midlane, feeding Abed with bottle and allowing the midlaner to completely dominate. EG won Game 1 with Abed dying not even once. Game 2 had a similar opening as Game 1, where EG dominated early in the game. However, a series of bad clashes allowed PSG.LGD to gain the lead, narrowly beating EG in Game 2. Game 3 saw EG return to their dominant streak, unfazed by their loss in the previous game. They completely controlled the match and beat out PSG.LGD to send them to the lower bracket.

With a place in the Singapore Major Finals secured, EG secured $100,000 and 450 DPC Points. One more win and they bring home double that amount and scoring 500 DPC Points, more than enough to qualify for The International.

FINAL BOSS NO MORE: INVICTUS GAMING VANQUISHES TEAM SECRET (2-0)

Who would have thought that the only sweep for today's series will come in the form of Invictus Gaming serving one to Team Secret? But that's exactly what happened, and the supposed “Final Boss” of the Singapore Major has fallen. Seeing how effectively Team Secret used Death Prophet in their series against Neon, IG shut the hero down from getting into Team Secret's hands. The plan worked, and IG was able to take out one of the most feared names in Dota 2 today.

It turns out that Team Secret isn't invincible, and that many teams can stand up against them. Still, they're a formidable foe, but many teams learned this week that Team Secret can be wounded, can be beaten. The intimidation of Team Secret will wear off a little. Regardless, Team Secret did well in the tournament, taking home $50,000 and winning 350 DPC Points. We'll see more of Secret in the near future, that's for sure.

DOWN TO THE FINAL DAY: PSG.LGD AND INVICTUS GAMING FIGHT FOR THE CHANCE TO TOPPLE EG

Tomorrow, we'll witness the final two series of the Singapore Major. First off will be the lower bracket finals between Invictus Gaming and PSG.LGD. In this Best-Of-3 series, IG is seen as the favorite. They are, after all, the playoffs-seeded team from China. However, this distinction isn't a sure indication of dominance. We'll still see how IG vs. LGD will turn out tomorrow, as we've witnessed LGD beat big names so far, such as Team Secret themselves.

Losing out at this point of the tournament will have the losing team bringing home $75,000 and 400 DPC points. Not bad at all.

Meanwhile, the winner will face Evil Geniuses in the Grand Final. We've already seen today how EG vs. PSG.LGD can turn out. Meanwhile, it'd be interesting to see how EG will fight against a team like IG. Whichever would be the case, we're surely going to be treated with some intent matches tomorrow. The Grand Final of the Singapore Major is coming soon, and it's about time we crown a Dota 2 Major champion once again.
